Curriculum
SKSPS follows the Gujarat State Education Board (GSEB) curriculum, thoughtfully designed to be child-centric and developmentally appropriate. Students are encouraged to become independent learners, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through activity-based learning methods, education becomes an engaging and joyful experience.
In accordance with GSEB guidelines, we implement Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) throughout the academic year to monitor and support each child’s growth. Special emphasis is placed on enhancing listening, speaking, and reading skills to strengthen foundational abilities.
The medium of instruction is English and Gujarati. Additionally, Hindi and Sanskrit are offered as second and third languages respectively, supporting linguistic diversity and cultural grounding.
Methodology
Our teaching approach at SKSPS blends the best of traditional and modern methods. While blackboard teaching and direct instruction remain integral, we also adopt innovative practices like project-based learning and the use of smart classrooms. Teachers employ student-centered strategies to promote active engagement and deeper understanding.
Facilities such as the STEM lab, activity room, and computer lab provide dynamic and hands-on learning experiences that go beyond the textbook, nurturing creativity and curiosity.
Assessment
We follow a comprehensive assessment system that includes written tests, examinations, project work, and continuous evaluations. These assessments are aligned with GSEB standards and help track each student’s academic progress while supporting personalized learning.
